Website Maintenance Opt-Out Policy
Forward Multimedia understands that each client has unique needs and preferences when it comes to website maintenance. While we highly recommend our comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the optimal performance, security, and longevity of your website, we respect your decision if you choose not to avail of our maintenance services.
OPT-OUT PROCEDURE
1. Notification of Opt-Out
If you choose not to sign-up for a maintenance plan, please notify us to confirm opt out of our maintenance services.
2. Acknowledgment
Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will acknowledge it within 1-3 business days to confirm that your opt-out has been noted. This acknowledgment will include important information about the implications of opting out of our maintenance services.
3. Understanding the Implications
It’s important to note that opting out of our maintenance services means you will not benefit from regular updates, website back-ups, security patches, and proactive monitoring provided by our team, including priority support via our Whatsapp group chats. This may leave your website vulnerable to potential security risks and could impact its overall performance.
4. Responsibility for Updates
As the client opting out, you assume responsibility for keeping all website software, plugins, themes, and other components up-to-date. Failure to do so may result in compatibility issues, security vulnerabilities, and diminished performance.
5. Non-Plan Service Requests
If you opt out of our maintenance plan but require on-demand services during the year, these services will be billed separately at our standard rates. We will provide a cost estimate before proceeding with any maintenance work. Please note that we cannot guarantee the timeliness of these requests as paid maintenance plans will take priority. If the your website goes down and requires restoration, the full Premium Maintenance plan will become payable.
6. Re-Enrollment Option
You have the option to enroll in our maintenance services at any time. If you decide to re-enroll after opting out, a thorough website audit may be required, and any necessary updates or security patches will be billed separately. Enrollment during the year will be at the full annual plan value and will not be prorated.
By opting out of our maintenance services, you acknowledge and accept the associated risks and responsibilities. We are committed to providing exceptional service, and we remain available to assist you with any future maintenance needs or inquiries.
