Forward Multimedia in the Media
A bit of news about Forward Multimedia in the news— in a good way I hasten to add— an article in the business section of this week’s Trinidad Guardian newspaper (April 2nd, 2013). The article was on E-Commerce in Trinidad & Tobago (I know, a no-brainer to talk to me first right?) and my views on local e-commerce were reported.
I was expecting the article however, as I did get a call from the writer a little over a week ago asking my opinion. The writer had read my articles and was interested in the new payment gateway I was promoting with First Atlantic Commerce (FAC). I was a little disappointed that FAC wasn’t mentioned by name at all, instead mentioning only Scotiabank’s involvement.
Anyway, I did get many calls that day with website inquiries (that’s how I knew the article was published) and it was good for business. Apart from the bottom line, it does lend a certain credibility and enhances my stature in the industry. While I’m sure it will probably bring in some high profile clients, I don’t ever want to give the signal that I’m only about the big fishes with the big names, Forward Multimedia is fully down to earth and here for anyone in T&T who wants a website.
